Living with chronic invisible illnesses throughout her career as a professional dancer, she developed a deep understanding of wellbeing at both personal and professional levels. These experiences fueled her mission to help organisations cultivate healthier, more resilient workplaces - an ethos that drives The Manning Institute.
Living with chronic illnesses while building a 20-year career as a successful dancer and choreographer taught Flic the value of resilience, wellness, and perseverance. However, it wasn’t until she stepped into the world of wellness and neuroscience that she fully understood the need for sustainable strategies in health and business. The obstacles she faced fueled her passion to create meaningful change in the way we approach workplace culture and personal wellbeing.
Flic has since dedicated her life to helping others unlock their potential through the same science-driven and holistic methods that transformed her own life. Her journey from the world of dance to becoming an advocate, author, and startup consultant is a testament to the power of merging expertise with lived experience.
Flic’s personal experiences naturally led her to found The Manning Institute, where she combines her extensive knowledge of neuroscience, neuroplasticity, and holistic wellbeing with her leadership in workplace culture acumen.
